Who else sees the mind set of an abusive spouse in Russia’s attack of Ukraine?
Bombing a train station and killing children, destroying shelters and hospitals with victims inside, committing rape and murder in Bucha, refusing humanitarian aid for civillians in Mariupol or letting them flee the carnage, these are surely not intended to win hearts and minds.
One can instead clearly hear the abuser’s threat: “If I can’t have you, nobody will have you!”
The limitless rage of an abuser toward his victim, the whiny self justifications: “Look what you made me do to you!”
Violence, loss of restraint, and irrationality all so eerily echo actions of a male in a psychotic state, an attachment disorder unresolved.
“You are mine!” Words that echo from mansions to trailer parks, from palaces to hovels around the world, and now from one government to another and serve as the pretext for war.
The writings Putin uses to validate his claims against Ukraine are not of history, nor a statement of rights. They are a misogynistic philosophy of control by domination. The world has to stand against these men.
