The attention span of all facets of this indutry,

would wake up, Oil is not just the base of fuel products, But in almost every product we consume daily. Food clothing, shelter, medicine , manufacturing, energy,

Absolutely agree. I think even a small act on the part of individuals (put off that trip to the store until we really need something) would have a significant impact if we all did it.

Inquiring minds want to know, how much time a day on average do you spend reading?

I don't always agree with your point of view but you do get me to think and I appreciate that.

*I* don't always agree with my point of view. Which is saying my point of view can change, sometimes in the writing, as it did in this last piece.

To answer your question, I read probably from two to six hours a day, with the average probably being four. I have around eight subscriptions to various publications, then a bunch of freebees. It's an addiction, I admit, that I've had since I was a child.

I live alone, don't watch TV, am not that interested in sports except racing and boating. All of which leaves me with far too much time on my hands. (smile)
